Richard Danbury read philosophy at Cambridge University and trained as a barrister before practicing in criminal law. He first visited South America in 1992 and has also hiked in North America, Asia, Africa, and Europe. Married to Trailblazer author, Melissa Graham, he now lives in London and works for the BBC.
