`A Generational War' follows the emotional turmoil of a life lived in the shadow of the Dublin mountains
A Generational War follows the author's journey as he tries discover the truth behind the anger and destructive attitude that have hounded him from childhood, through his teenage years and beyond and which have taken him to the brink of suicide on many occasions.
When Joe Kavanagh decided to get away from the country of his birth, he left behind an emotional war that had been passed down from generation to generation. During his travels he became a parent to two beautiful children but his emotional past caused him immense difficulties with the positive bonding process he so wanted.
But even in his confused state of mind, a meeting with the person he calls his `wee angel' changed everything and, although it took him away from his children, it set him on the long path of discovery that finally led him to understand where his anger truly came from.
