Field Guide to the Birds of Australia

This handbook contains 2000 illustrations including paintings by Nicholas Day and covers every species of bird in Australia. It also provides material on taxonomy, biology and habitat of each bird family and includes tips on bird-watching and recording bird movements. This work is a companion to the standard reference book "The Birds of Australia" by the same men. Ken Simpson has also published "Birds in Bass Strait".
