Welcome to the blossoming trend of flower looming! It’s simple, it’s quick, it's fun, and you can create a wonderful selection of stunning flowers from just a few scraps of yarn.
This book includes detailed instructions for making 30 beautiful flowers, including a chart, written instructions and a large colour photo; plus all the know-how you need to make your own flowers such as yarn and colour selection, and looming and joining techniques. A template to make your own light-weight, sturdy card loom has also been added to get you started on your loom-making journey.
You can use single flowers as embellishments for a variety of accessories and garments, or join them together to make a wide variety of items: five inspirational projects have been specially designed by Haafner, from an elegant shawl to a gorgeous necklace, all of which are shown and explained in easy to follow step-by-steps.
Haafner Linssen is a blogger, instagrammer and crochet designer with a knack for flower looming. She loves the retro vibes of this amazing technique. Haafner has developed a recognisable style: Classic pieces with a modern twist. Trained in cultural history, she is interested in the historic backgrounds of the craft. Her first book Mandalas to Crochet, published in 2016, was an international success. She is also a regular contributor to Molly Makes. Haafner lives in a cute old house, somewhere between Amsterdam and the North Sea.
