Have you ever wondered if you need to stop drinking—or whether you’ve had too much? Can I Keep Drinking? gives you tools to assess yourself and figure out how to have a better relationship with alcohol.
Can I Keep Drinking? How You Can Decide When Enough is Enough is for the 90-million-plus people who struggle with alcohol in the United States. Most will avoid getting help for fear of being labeled an alcoholic, forced into treatment, made to attend 12-step meetings, and have to stop drinking completely. Only about 6 percent of the population is alcoholic yet more than 80 percent of treatment programs require total abstinence from alcohol. Cyndi Turner challenges this traditional belief and teaches you how to have a better relationship with alcohol.

As if you and Cyndi were sitting in her office, she provides you with easy-to-follow tools, checklists, and quizzes to guide you through the process of answering the crucial question: can I keep drinking? Included throughout are experiences of people who have struggled with drinking. The “How Do I Know If I Can Keep Drinking? Quiz” gives you positive and negative predictors for whether you are a candidate for moderate drinking and prepares you to develop and implement a Moderate Drinking Plan.

Take the quiz and get the tools to get balance back in your life!

Cyndi Turner is a licensed clinical social worker and licensed substance abuse treatment practitioner with more than twenty years of field experience. She cofounded and is the clinical director of Insight Into Action Therapy, a private outpatient therapy practice with two offices in northern Virginia. She co-developed and facilitates the Dual Diagnosis Recovery Program©. Local courts have qualified her as an expert witness, and the National Football League Program for Substances of Abuse has vetted her to provide therapy to their players. Cyndi is willing to challenge the old-school belief that all problem drinkers must be alcoholics who need to quit drinking forever. She is a Moderation Management-friendly therapist and is Get SMART FAST certified. She lives in northern Virginia and loves anything to do with sun, sand, beaches, or boats.
