This is a year-by-year narrative account of motor racing from the first road race, run in France in 1894, to 1995. The book charts the technical development of the car over 100 years, and of the sport itself, from road racing to international sport. The book contains an extensive cross-referencing system for easy access to information and there is also consistent presentation of technical information for comparative purposes.
