Born and raised in the natural paradise of South Wales' Gower Peninsula, Ben Holbrook spent much of his youth exploring the world with his travel agent parents. His first job was stacking travel brochures in his mother's office and it was no surprise that he ended up pursuing a career as a travel writer. In a relentless pursuit of the good life, Ben originally moved to Barcelona in 2009 and, when not writing about his adoptive home city on his blog (www.DriftwoodJournals.com) and for various global travel publication, he can typically be found hunting out new cultural and culinary experiences in the city and the rest of Spain, indulging in his penchant for good wine and craft beer.
