A classic guide that has been updated and includes 18 projects for the rigid heddle loom.
With growing interest in rigid-heddle weaving in mind, this classic has been updated to appeal to new weavers today—many of whom are drawn to the rigid heddle loom due to it’s size and affordability. Ideal for beginner weavers and knitters drawn to weaving for the first time, readers can learn the basics of setting up a rigid heddle loom. The guidance to warping is newly updated and the 18 quick, simple, and timeless projects will have readers showing off their new work in fairly short order.

Liz Gipson first learned to weave at age five. She took up weaving once again while attending Colorado State University, where she studied fiber art and community development. Liz is the former managing editor of Spin-Off magazine and the current managing editor of Handwoven magazine. She has made appearances on the DIY and HGTV programs Knitty Gritty and Uncommon Threads, and she is delighted to be the spinning and weaving host of Interweave Press's new public television show Knitting Daily. Liz is the president of the Spinning and Weaving Association and lives in Loveland, Colorado.
