Tales from the Chicago Bulls Locker Room tells some of the inside stories from that team, the one that won three more NBA titles from 1996 through 1998. Seen from the eyes of three-time NBA champion center Bill Wennington, the Bulls come to life from an insider’s point of view. Followed everywhere and talked about endlessly, the 199596 Bulls captured a national and international audience and continued to keep all eyes upon them for three seasons. Fans will read about some of the most famous names in basketball history: Jordan, the demanding team leader; Pippen, the true teammate; Rodman, the reckless rebounder; Toni Kukoc, the outsider; Ron Harper, the former star turned role player; Luc Longley, the affable Aussie; Steve Kerr, the John Paxson sequel; and all of them playing for Phil Jackson, the Zen master coach.

Bill Wennington played in the NBA for 13 years, including six seasons with the Bulls. After joining the team in 1993, he played a key role in the Bulls’ second three-peat from 199698. Following his playing career, Wennington was a sideline reporter at Bulls games and now is a radio color commentator for all Bulls games. He also serves as the coordinator of the Bulls’ player development program. Kent McDill has been a sportswriter since 1978, working in Chicago and Indianapolis for United Press International before joining the Daily Herald in Arlington Heights, Illinois, to work as the Chicago Bulls beat writer. From 1988 to 1999 he traveled with the Bulls on a daily basis and ended up being the only beat writer to cover all six Bulls championship teams.
