Gail Lawther is an embroiderer who has written extensively on crafts and regularly demonstrates her work. She travels extensively, drawing her inspiration for her unusual quilts and applique designs from sources worldwide. Her husband, Christopher, is a typographic designer who works with Gail to create the instructional charts that accompany her designs.
