Understanding the calorie and nutrient content of food and drink is essential for diabetes management, weight loss and healthy eating and this book is an invaluable support tool for anyone engaged in this process. Carbs & Cals educates the user and helps them make informed choices about carbohydrate and calorie counting, and how to reduce calories and fat intake by choosing a smaller portion or swapping a food item that is high in calories for a healthier option. The book is in association with Diabetes UK.
