Barnaby B. Barratt (PhD, DHS) is a psychoanalyst, sexuality educator, sex therapist, and somatic psychologist, currently in private practice in Johannesburg, South Africa. He is Senior Research Fellow at the University of Cape Town, and Visiting Professor at the University of Witwatersrand. His previous books include Sexual Health and Erotic Freedom and Psychoanalysis and the Postmodern Impulse. His most recent book is What is Psychoanalysis? 100 Years after Freud's 'Secret Committee.'
