In 1907 some European aristocrats raced 10,000 miles from Peking, via the Gobi Desert, Siberia and Moscow, to Paris. Ninety years later, this adventure was re-enacted. This narrative of the rerun describes historical and geographical details, anecdotes, and the characters of the classic cars.
