This unique look at the art of the tattoo examines the form through profiles of 20 of the world's top artists from the United States, Europe, Brazil, and the Pacific Rim.
The ancient art of tattooing has marked humanity for thousands of years, allowing members of tribes both ancient and modern to show their allegiances. This book gives unprecedented access to the studios of 20 living legends of body art across the world, including Aaron Bell, Bugs, Madame Chan, Mo Coppoletta, Daniel DiMattia and many more. Each chapter profiles the artist, their inspirations and often the sacrifices they have made in pursuit of their passion. Whether rediscovering traditional techniques or forging new styles, the artists included in Planet Ink are masters of their craft.
