A collection of 25 walks around Amsterdam. They are designed to be taken at an easy pace, and allow time for personal exploration and revealing Amsterdam in its many different guises. Each walk, accompanied by a route map, offers a tour of discovery: following the impressive canals and the narrow mysterious alleyways; passing well-known landmarks and places steeped in history and culture; visiting the museums and art galleries; exploring markets, squares and hidden stairways; and appreciating the animated night life of Amsterdam. There are recommendations for bars and cafes en route and information on all forms of public transport to and from the walks' start and finish points.
