After studying at the London College of Furniture, Billy Cook worked for a leading furniture dealer before joining Christie's auctioneers in London. He left to join his family's restoration business, W.J. Cook & Sons, whose clients have included royalty, museums, dealers and collectors. Here he specializes in late 17th to 19th century furniture, both buying and selling around the world. Billy has researched and written various specialist guides and gives lectures on the subject of restoration.
