Quality Control for Automobile Plant Engineering in China

The Chinese market is immense and a paradise for the automobile industry, who face a growing number of well-funded people. Especially the quality feature made in Germany is desired by the Chinese people. Certainly, this does not apply for all German companies in the automobile industry who produce in China. The ISO 9001 and the ISO/TS 16949 increasingly become accepted in China as well, although the plants are characterized by workers instead of machines and robots. This book firstly investigates to which extent the modern Quality Management methods are applicable for a country like China. Based on the growth dynamic and the rising quality demand of Chinese customers, the author addresses the method Lean Six Sigma and how this method can be applied for a German company, which produces paint shops for car manufacturer.
