Presented alphabetically, the book includes stories about horses, owners, jockeys and gamblers. It has amusing stories of the great winners and losers as well as quotes and fascinating facts. Editor Peter Long, set himself the task of reading an awful lot of books, newspapers and magazines to research the full breadth of stories to include in his complete An A-Z of Racing Anecdote, which has taken him over a year to compile.
