Bernd-Ulrich GroA , was the head coach of a German Bundesliga table tennis club from 1989-1991. He was publisher and editor of the German table tennis magazine TischtennislehreA" and organizer of big table tennis events. GroA is involved in the production of the monthly Newsletter of the Japanese company Butterfly. Werner Schlager sensationally became World Singles Champion in Paris in 2003. Two years later he won the European Doubles Championship together with his friend Karl Jindrak. He was the number 1 in the world in the Singles and the number 1 in the world in the Doubles. In 2010 he opened the Werner Schlager Academy in Vienna, a table tennis world centre in the heart of Europe.
