For decades, Australia has enjoyed an enviable reputation for having some of the best golf courses per capita in the world, while in recent times some of that spotlight has certainly been shared with New Zealand.
120 Great Golf Courses in Australia and New Zealand looks at the layouts that should be on every golfer's 'must-play' list u from the towering sand hills of Tasmania's Barnbougle Dunes, to Alice Springs (the hottest course in the world), and across the Tasman Sea to the majestic cliff-tops of Cape Kidnappers and Kauri Cliffs. For each course presented in this book, there is information on the course's history and features, standout holes, other great courses nearby, accommodation options and non-golf activities in the area (for when you're not swinging a club). Stunning images displayed in the book's colour insert pages will entice golfers to experience the beauty of these locations first-hand.

Brendan James is a multi-award-winning golf photojournalist, whose work has been widely published in Australia, Great Britain and the United States. He has worked at Golf Australia magazine for 14 years, and spent the last seven years as the magazine's editor. Brendan has played and photographed golf courses throughout Australia for three decades, and at last count he had teed up on more than 950 layouts across the country. 'That's a lot of lost golf balls and a lot of great memories,' he says.
