Ray Wilkins is one of the most popular and talented English midfielders of all time. His career spans a remarkable 24 years, during which he was popular with the fans of all the major teams he played for - Chelsea, Manchester Untied, Rangers and QPR. He won 83 caps for England and has the dubious distinction of being one of only 9 players ever to be sent off for the national team. His managerial career includes many dramatic twists and turns, including becoming Fulham manager in 1997 and then being controversially sacked by Al Fayed and Kevin Keegan, two stints with Gianluca Vialli at Chelsea and then Watford (being sacked along with Vialli on both occasions), and then working with Denis Wise at Millwall until May 2005 when numerous changes in the club led to both Wilkins and Wise leaving. He now appears regularly on Sky Sports as a pundit.
