Carey K. Anders, MD is a clinician-scientist and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of North Carolina (UNC) School of Medicine, a member of both the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center and the UNC Breast Center. Her clinical efforts are devoted to the care of women with breast cancer, particularly those who are young at diagnosis and those who develop central nervous system recurrence. She is a translational researcher who designs both laboratory experiments and clinical trials to more effectively treat women with advanced triple negative breast cancer.
