Michigan Might Be the Most Haunted State in America. Find Out Why!
This incomparable collection by Ryan Jacobson features 27 of the scariest, most surprising ghostly tales of Michigan. From a place so haunted it was featured on national television to a region where a monster is said to reside, it's all inside this book. Best of all, the stories were written with a campfire in mind, so they're perfect for sharing aloud.
Nearly twenty years ago, Ryan Jacobson had a brush with the “unexplainable.” Not long after, his older brother, Jason, introduced Ryan to his first horror novel. It was then that Ryan’s love of reading ghost stories was born. He later turned his passion for books into a career as an author, most recently focusing on “safe scary books for kids.” He has written nine children’s books, including a picture book, Joe Lee and the Boo: Who’s Afraid of Monsters?, and a choose-your-path book, Lost in the Wild. Ryan also writes a web comic, Monster Ninjas(TM), and he is the author of Ghostly Tales of Wisconsin. Ryan resides in Mora, Minnesota, with his wife, Lora, son, Jonah, and dog, Boo.
