Aiming to help the tourist make the most out of a holiday, this guide is divided into seven day-tours in and around Sydney. Each is accompanied by a map covering the day's recommended itinerary, and starts at Circular Quay. Text provides historical background, facts and information. Following the seven day-tours are eight "specialist" itineraries which describe areas further afield. These comprise: a day at the zoo; bushwalking in the Royal National Park; cruising Sydney's waterways; the central coast; Hunter Valley; the southern highlands; the south coast; and harbourside walks. Finally, a directory listing covers shopping, nightlife, cuisine, and events, giving useful names and addresses and relevant additional information.
