Keith Dowman is the foremost British expert on Tibet. He has lived in India and Nepal for 30 years among refugee Tibetans, studying, translating, and teaching Tibetan Buddhism. He has also spent a long time in Tibet researching various books, and now spends his summers leading pilgrimage tours in Tibet. He has written 11 books including The Power Places of Central Tibet.
