This offshore atlas contains up-to-date oil and gas industry information. Global in perspective, it begins with a section containing pages of detailed offshore information, and includes information on each area's politics and technology. The atlas enables readers to: quickly locate new wells or structures; identify target and adjacent licence holders; locate the nearest oil and gas trunk or lateral pipelines; locate the areas of dispute, and identify risks; calculate distances from prospects to support bases and shoreline; determine water depths in prospect and licence areas; and replace out-of-date map rolls with a carry-with-you book. Also covered are: new offerings by countries globally (expiration dates where appropriate); newly licenced blocks and their operators; new pipeline and platform information (where available); demarcation line settlements; and new coastal support bases.
