One man, one dog, one coastline, no clue!
Away from the tourist trails of England lies an ancient path.

Beyond the high surf and sandy beaches of Cornwall, Devon and Dorset lies a cornucopia of treasures, hidden along the perilous routes of the South West.

In 2018 Chris set out with Moose, his long-suffering canine companion, on a quest to walk around the coastline of Britain.

Join them on their adventure and prepare to be enthralled and bewildered by a story so wild, it's hard to believe that it actually happened.

Chris McQuillan was born in Oldham where he trained as an electrical engineer, and later went on to work in project management for several social housing providers. Chris has also worked in the charitable sector, fundraising on behalf of several non-profit organisations and charities. At the age of forty-two he decided that the time for his midlife adventure/crisis was ripe, and so grabbed a tent, rucksack, and his trusted companion Moose, to begin a coastal walk all the way around mainland Britain. When not walking, Chris resides in Wiltshire. Moose is a four-year-old Mastador (mastiff/Labrador cross) who Chris met at Bath Cats and Dogs Home in 2017. Very little is known about his past prior to meeting Chris, only that he came from a loving family whose changing circumstances meant that they had to give him up. Moose is energetic, friendly to most folk, and obsessed with playing ball! He has bags of personality and likes to groan a lot - hence the name Moose! When not walking, Moose usually resides on the lion's share of Chris's bed.
