This map caters specifically for the needs of tourists and visitors. In addition to the main maps of West (Peninsula) and East (Sabah and Sarawak) Malaysia, which highlight scenic routes, the following areas of special interest to visitors are shown in greater detail: area maps - Langkawi, Pinang, Pangkor and Tioman islands, Kuala Lumpur, Cameron Highlands, Mt Kinabalu, and Niah Caves; town plans - Kuala Lumpur, Melaka, Georgetown, Johor Bahru, Kuantan, Kuala Terengganu, Kota Bahru, Kuching, and Kota Kinabalu.;The town plans and city plans of the major centres pinpoint key buildings and places of interest as well as where to stay. Distance and climate charts enable travellers to plan their visits, while the illustrations conjure up the atmosphere of the country. Nature reserves, parks and dive sites are also listed, and legends are provided in English, German and French.
