Geert Sciot worked as a journalist for more than 10 years, for the Flemish newspaper De Morgen and radio station Radio 1. He specialised in tourism and transport. Since 2002 he has been Vice President External Communication for Brussels Airlines; he is also a member on different boards and juries in the world of journalism. Malta is his home away from home and Sciot was appointed by H.E. the President of Malta as Honorary Consul of the Republic of Malta for Belgium. This book is his ode to the island he loves so much. It is to be released at the start of the year 2018, when Valletta will be the European Capital of Culture.
