Richard Jones is a former journalist on the Bristol Evening Post where he was also the music editor and was one of the first people to interview Massive Attack on the release of their genre-twisting Blue Lines album. He is now the publisher at Tangent Books and takes a particular interest in Bristol's alternative scene and sub-culture. He is a director of the Bearpit Improvement Group, one of the founders of the Bristol Festival of Literature and a trustee of the Long John Silver Trust a charity dedicated to celebrating the Floating Harbour's links to Treasure Island and other works of literature.Gil Gillespie started going out in Bristol when he was 14 and has spent many thousands of hours in Bristol pubs, clubs and at gigs. Gil is an expert on Bristol music and an opinionated commentator on the city and its counter-culture.
