He and his wife, CherRon, have six sons and live in Cedar Hills, Utah.Ty Detmer won the Heisman Trophy in 1990 while playing quarterback for Brigham Young University. He played 14 seasons in the NFL and has been the offensive coordinator at BYU since 2015.
