Nature Parks of Slovenia

Slovenia is the only country in Europe that combines the Alps, the Mediterranean, the Pannonian Plain and the Karst. It has an extraordinary variety and diversity of landscapes. Mighty Alpine peaks with sheer faces, deep karst caves and potholes, softly rounded hills and vast plains - Slovenia has all of these. This diverse landscape is celebrated in the Nature Parks of Slovenia, the first book in the English language describing all the country's protected areas.
