A guide to twelve walks on the Lizard peninsula: the most beautiful and the most interesting.
In Walking on the Lizard, the author picks his favourite walks in this special area of Cornwall. These walks have been chosen to reflect the nature of the district, taking walkers to the most beautiful places and the most interesting. The book gives plenty of information about the route for each walk, and the author shares his knowledge of the natural history that can be seen, as well as giving information about the history and geology along the way. The walks are varied in length; all offer suitable places to sit and relax over lunch, whether at an inn, a cafe, or simply a seat with a view.

David Chapman is a professional photographer and writer, and author of Wild about Cornwall, Penwith Moods, A Cornish Year and Photographing Cornwall, as well as numerous titles in the Pocket Cornwall series. His work is featured regularly in magazines, and his photographs are stocked by a number of photographic agencies. David Chapman has twice won double awards from the Outdoor Writers Guild for Photography and Excellence in Writing, and his photographs regularly win competitions at local and national levels.
