It features their history; specialist gardens such as Japanese or rose; diverse collections of rare, native or exotic plants; notable sculpture or art; and the festivals and entertainments for which they are venues. Within each state section, the numbered gardens are marked on the relevant state map. Each entry includes information such as wheelchair accessibility, opening times, entry fees, special attractions, percentage of plants labelled and facilities.
