William Warren, American by birth, has lived in Thailand since 1960 and has traveled extensively throughout Asia over the years. He is the author of more than 50 books on architecture, tropical gardens and history, among them Jim Thompson: The Unsolved Mystery, a biography of the man who made Thai silk famous; The House on the Klong, Heritage Homes of Thailand, Thai Style, The Tropical Garden, Balinese Gardens, Singapore: City of Gardens and Phuket: Pearl of the Orient. Photographer Renowned Australian travel photographer Jill Gocher has worked in Asia for many years and her photographs have been published in books and magazines in many countries around the world. On her travels around this fascinating continent, she has sought the unusual, the quirky and the heartwarming, not to mention the beautiful.
