Following in the footsteps of last year's extremely successful Postcards from New Zealand, Bob McCree has put together another collection of images, this time focusing just on Auckland. Postcards from Auckland aims to translate the popularity of postcards into book form, with a range of postcard-type images that cover the visitor experience in New Zealand's biggest city. All of the key destinations and landmarks in Auckland are covered, as well as an appealing range of cultural activity that forms such a central part of Auckland's character. The pocket edition format has been a spectacularly successful part of Craig Potton Publishing's pictorial New Zealand range, and Postcards from Auckland will be another welcome addition to this series.

Bob McCree has spent most of his life as a lover of the New Zealand landscape and lifestyle. He has spent the last 20 years photographing and documenting it and holds an extensive library of over 70,000 images of all areas of the country and all aspects of the New Zealand lifestyle. He is a life member of the Howick Camera Club and has been a member of the Photographic Society of New Zealand for the last 20 years and holds their highest honours award of a Fellow of that Society (FPSNZ). In recent years he has had over a dozen pictorial books published in his name and has contributed many images to other books and a wide range of calendars and other pictorial publications. He lives in Howick, Auckland.
