Michael Harden has been writing about Melbourne's drinking and eating culture for more than a decade and still gets a thrill hunting down the hidden gems that are the cities forte. He writes a regular bar column for The Age's Epicure section, is Melbourne editor of Australian Gourmet Traveller and is a regular contributor to The Age Good Food Guide, Qantas Magazine, Royal Auto and the Melbourne Weekly Magazine. He is also the author of five books, including: The Making of an Eating and Drinking Capital, a history of Melbourne's bar and restaurant scene.
