Building on the market-leading success of Berlitz Pocket Guides, this brand new series features the same user-friendly approach, yet with a much higher level of detail to make these Handbooks both comprehensive and completely portable. With an emphasis on practical information such as accommodation, transport, health, money and more, this guide is an invaluable on-the-ground reference manual. The Country Fact File, Trip Planner and recommended, fully mapped tours highlight all the key sights, making it ideal for holiday planning too. The carefully selected Top 25 Attractions give you a flavour of all the exciting and interesting things to see and do on your trip, including the spectacular Great Wall of China, the beautiful old riverside town of Fenghuang and the holy Buddhist and Taoist mountains of Sacred Peaks, offering spectral beauty and calm. As well as exploring the entire country in a colour-coded, region-by-region format, this inspirational guide also contains unique experiences, with expert advice on how to make the most of local activities. There is also an extensive phrase book section, providing a wealth of language expertise for which the Berlitz brand is famous. The Berlitz Handbook series is one of the most content-rich, full-colour series' available, yet it continues to offer excellent value for money: the hallmark of Berlitz.
