European Agreement Concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR)

Presents a European Agreement that aims at increasing the safety of the international transport of dangerous goods (including dangerous wastes) by road. It classifies dangerous goods according to their dangerous physical and chemical properties.

This authoritative Agreement is intended to increase the safety of international transport of dangerous goods by road. Restructured to make the requirements more accessible and more user to friendly, it contains the conditions under which these goods may be carried internationally. The Agreement has been regularly amended and updated since its entry into force. This version has been prepared on the basis of amendments applicable as from 1 January 2009.
