This collection of analytical articles discusses the different ways in which society can resolve the problem of misconceptions about human identity and race. The present democracy being practiced in many parts of the world evolved from European countries and America. However, recent experiences have shown that the more established democratic countries have not as yet found ways for citizens of different communities, ethnic identities or nationalities to live together peacefully in multicultural societies. This book explains the manner in which governments can relate to their own citizens, as well as citizens of other nationalities, to avoid cases of exclusionism in society. As this volume shows, it is possible to eliminate the artificial and psychological boundaries that separate communities in modern societies. One way of solving the problem of racial inequities is to replace the present two-community model with a one community comprising people from all nationalities irrespective of ethnic identity, religion, and gender. Having implemented the one-community model, governments across the world should re-visit their constitutions and remove racially embedded clauses from them. This book explains the various ways in which people of different nationalities and backgrounds can live together in a world divided by race and religion.
