Dr. Fuyu YANG is Professor works at Department of Grassland Science, College of Animal Sci.&Tech., China Agricultural University. He is also the Secretary-General of China Strategic Innovation Alliance of Forage Industry Tech., Deputy Director of Forage Engineering Technology Research Center of MOA, and researcher at National Energy R&D Centerfor Nonfood Biomass His main research areas are Forage production and quality evaluation: Forage stands establishment and management; forage harvest, yield and quality control; hay making and silage fermentation and preservation; forage quality test and evaluation. Herbivorous animal production: Nutritive quality and digestive characteristic of forage; Influence of the nutritional value of the forage ration on the growing performance of animals; forage ration feeding strategy. Bioenergy forage production: Bioenergy forage resources selecting and evaluation, cultivation, havesting and utilizing; planting energy grasses onmarginal lands; growing and using biomass energy forages to reduce the level of CO2 emissions. He won the National Award for Science and Technology Progress and the National Ten Thousand Plan of Science and Technology Talents.
