Arun Kasi is a law practitioner and arbitrator, specialising in maritime law. While being an active practitioner, he has always been highly academically inclined. He holds a doctorate degree in maritime law. He graduated with his law degree when he was 19 years old and has been working in the field since then. To date, over a span of 3 decades, he has authored or co-authored six law books and about 40 articles.
