About the author
Thomas O Malley is a barrister, a Senior Lecturer in Law at NUI Galway and a member of the Law Reform Commission. He has published several books on aspects of Irish criminal law and criminal procedure including, most recently, Sentencing Law and Practice 3rd edition (Thomson Reuters, Round Hall, 2016).
