Drafting techniques are also considered and precedents cited including Street V Mountford. The purpose and effect of each different type of individual clause and tenancy are set out, and any problems associated with them are highlighted. This edition has been revised to take into account the many important case decisions and enacted legislation since the first edition in 1984. For instance it takes account of the changes resulting from the Housing Act 1988, including the various forms of assured tenancy and of the the Landord and Tenant Act 1988 and the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988.
