Public Private Partnerships (PPPs) involve an agreement between a governmental authority and a private party to jointly provide a public service or project. This book examines the different forms of PPPs in use today throughout the world, and clearly sets out what is needed to address the financial, technical and operational risks inherent in these projects.

Readers of this book will be expertly guided through the following:

PPP procurement processes
the financing of PPPs
international contract formats and contract provisions used on successful PPPs
governance and corruption avoidance methods
dispute prevention and resolution
applicable case law in the field

Also included are genuine case scenarios, along with their problem areas, which show the PPP management principles in this book at work.

This book delivers not just theory, but actual practical information on PPP projects too. It is therefore, a vital reference for lawyers, government officials, engineers, project managers, developers, financiers and academics involved with PPPs.
