He is a past Chair of the ISBA Real Estate Section Council, a past Chair of the DuPage County Bar Association Real Estate Law & Practice Committee, the former President of and current Board member of the Illinois Real Estate Lawyers Association, counsel to Mainstreet Organization of Realtors(R) since 2001, a member of the drafting committee of the Multi-Board Residential Real Estate Contract (versions 3.0, 4.0, 5.0, 6.0 and 6.1), a frequent lecturer for the Illinois State Bar Association, the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education and local bar associations. He has testified extensively as an opinion witness in cases involving real estate law issues.
