Why ENPR is so important?
Decisions of continental patent courts are now regularly cited in British patent judgments. Since the establishment of the European Patent Convention, decisions on a European patent handed down in one contracting state have a strong persuasive authority in a hearing on a similar issue in another contracting state.
ENPR is the first reliable source of key patent decisions from states contracted to the EPC. Each decision has been suggested by a senior judge from that jurisdiction, providing you with an invaluable source of precedent. Each decision is written in both English and in the original language, and all the reports have full English language headnotes.
