Bryan Liang's primary goal for "Health Law and Policy" is to provide physicians with the relevant intellectual tools necessary to be able to understand and survive in the rapidly changing world of medical practice. This goal is implemented through a supplemented case approach where each theme or rule is plainly stated, one or more case illustrations are given, and relevant commentary is provided, integrating the rule and case. To be effective, practitioners and patient advocates in this evolving health delivery system must expand their non-clinical knowledge base to encompass legal and business concerns. This book seeks to provide the foundation to allow this expansion to occur.
