Presents the study of anomalous electromagnetic effects in graphite-like thin carbon films. This book offers the description of techniques which have been applied to analyse the data on electromagnetic measurements in the thin granular carbon films.
The work presents the study of some new anomalous electromagnetic effects in graphite-like thin carbon films. These are: The fast switching (10-9 sec) of electrical conductivity The detection of microwave radiation and its temperature dependence. The oscillations of film stack magnetisation in a magnetic field of 1-5 The generation of optical radiation during the spasmodic switching of conductivity. These effects are explained to be the consequence of carbon films granular structure, which can be considered as the Josephson junction array (JJA). The description of theory and its application to the search of high-temperature superconducting (SC) phase in granular materials was done. This book presents the description of techniques which have been applied to analyse the data on electromagnetic measurements in the thin granular carbon films.

Preface; Exploration of Josephson -- Like Behavior of Thin Granular Carbon Films; Compactified Ginzburg-Landau Model: The Critical Behavior of Superconducting Thin Films; Large-area YBa2Cu3O7 Films on Sapphire Substrates: Preparation, Microstructure Elaboration, Evaluation and Application to Fault-current Limiters; High Rate Deposition of Double-sided YBCO Thin Films with Sputtering; Magnetic and Transport Properties of Electron-doped Superconducting Thin Films: Pairing Symmetry, Pinning and Spin Fuctuations; Preparation and Characterization of Perovskite-Type Semiconducting Thin Films; Index.
