The purpose of this biannual conference is to present and to discuss all important developments and outstanding recent results in the field of semiconductor physics - one of the most important disciplines in solid state physics. Semiconductor physics provides the scientific basis for the microelectronic device industry. Most of the important innovations were developed in this community and presented first in this conference series.
